We seek a versatile, punctual, and reliable individual dedicated to quality work. You should possess:

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance/Service Replacement or equivalent
  • City & Guilds minimum part 3 NVQ level 3 (Light Motor Vehicle Repair)
  • Own toolbox and protective footwear
  • Comprehensive understanding of vehicle layout, function, and part location
  • Knowledge of the retail motor industry, vehicle problems, repairs, warranty procedures, and QC’s
  • Understanding of National and European motor industry regulations and legislation
  • Full driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience in a busy franchised environment
  • MOT qualification

Skills and Experience

It would be advantageous to have experience in roles such as Engineer, Engineering, Technician, Mechanic, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Mechanic, Auto Mechanic, Auto Engineering, Vehicle Repair, C&G Level 3, City & Guilds, Vehicle Maintenance, NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance Technician, VOSA MOT Tester, Franchised Dealership, Vehicle Dealership, Leisure Technician, Motorhome, Caravan, Boat Technician, Workshop Technician, and Gas Safe.

What will your role look like?

We have exciting opportunities for Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics due to increasing demand. Your key responsibilities will include:

Vehicle Technician:

  • Accurately repair and service motor vehicles
  • Detect and diagnose additional faults for further repair
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate effectively within the dealership team to uphold industry-leading standards of customer care

Caravan & Motorhome Technician:

  • Diagnose and repair 12v, mains 230v electrics, plumbing, heating, and appliances
  • Conduct annual services and habitation checks
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections of new and used caravans and motorhomes
  • Handle warranty diagnosis and repairs, major carpentry rebuilds, and insurance repairs
  • Conduct re-sealing and damp repairs
  • Fit accessories such as solar panels, motor movers, bike racks, awnings, reverse cameras, and TV aerials
