The City Recruiter are looking for legal graduates to join one of our leading clients in a Fee Earner/Paralegal position.


Our client specializes in handling a variety of fraud claims, particularly Authorized Push Payment (APP) fraud cases. They provide expert legal services on a no-win, no-fee basis, ensuring clients receive the compensation they deserve.


Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Assist in managing pre-litigation cases related to APP fraud, including intake, assessment, and document preparation.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
  • Documentation: Prepare legal documents, review bank statements, and compile evidence for submission.
  • Research: Conduct legal research to support fraud claims and prepare summaries for the legal team.
  • Liaison: Coordinate with banks, the Financial Ombudsman Service, and other relevant entities to facilitate claims.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain case files and ensure timely follow-up on all pending matters.


Requirements:

  • Education: Paralegal certification or relevant legal qualifications.
  • Experience: No experience is required although some level of exposure to a law firms environment is beneficial.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and research skills. Proficiency in using case management software.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
