london 📍 | hybrid 3 days a week | competitive salary + 10% bonus |at wagamama, food is life 🥢 and we’re here to make every bite count. with over 165 restaurants across the UK (and growing fast) we’ve been dishing up vibrant, fresh asian inspired flavours since ‘92. it’s all about good food, good vibes, and good company 🍜🔥were looking for a internal communications + events lead to join us on our journey 🌱 ready to dive in and stir things up?as the internal communications + events lead you will be responsible for developing and implementing the wagamama communications + event strategydelivering innovative, high-quality, creative, relevant, on-brand and engaging communications, you will support the delivery of our people experience ensuring our teams feel informed and connected with wagamama at multiple touchpoints throughout the year working across the pillars of inform, engage, inspire + connect, your role will piece together our teams' journey by bringing to life the people experience framework through people promise internal campaigns + activations. you will hold the internal comms mirror up to all our internal activity, always ensuring that ‘how are we going to communicate this?’ is a key question we ask ourselves when landing activity + projects across wagamama what you'll do|develop and maintain our internal communications strategy to enable meaningful two-way engagement with our teams. to educate, advise and support key stakeholders e.g. central ops; marketing; food team; in delivering engaging, branded, coordinated and consistent internal communications across wagamama so that we keep our teams engaged and informed on key projects and initiatives. this role will provide specialist advice to others across wagamama on how to land comms brilliantly with our teams in a way that brings the wagamama magic to life through story tellingto review all internal communication material ensuring consistent internal branding across wagamama working with central ops, this role will align comms to our ‘woks happening’ plan, ensuring that no fly zones for comms to restaurants is adhered to working with the engagement + wellbeing manager, this role will support our engagement strategy ensuring that our approach to listening lands brilliantly across restaurants, noodle hq + cpu, Creating an opportunity for our people to express their ideas, opinions, and concerns and empowering them to have a voicesupport on engagement survey comms evolution + project manager of wokstars, ensuring it lands as a successful internal activation that engages our team develop, maintain, and constantly improve our internal communications channels using a broad mix of media and formats to effectively target our teamsworking closely with the people + culture director, support the full end to end conference content + comms, executing the annual conference theme, working with relevant agencies to produce content, utilising opportunities to build materials throughout the yearfull ownership of huddles to set the themes and direction with the ceo, people + culture director + central ops work with the engagement + wellbeing manager to champion the voice of our people in the delivery of activations across the business making sure we’re considering the impact + messages for our people e.g. soul club, brunch, new menu support our employee brand strategy with internal content, comms + team stories that can feature across external channels that will engage existing team + job seekers what you'll need |an ability to strategise and think about the broader brand imageculturally sensitive, yet holding strong opinions and prepared to back these where appropriateinterpersonal skills and creativityattention to detail and sees the bigger picture. able to move seamlessly from focussing on detail to the broad strategic challenges and contributing to the success of the whole businessstrong facilitation skills | guiding others to achieve goals, fostering a culture of collaborationStrong networker + relationship building | can demonstrate sensitivity, understanding and the ability to work with a diverse and multi-cultural audience. shows Sensitivity to different approaches and individuals throughout the businessStrong project management skills | the ability to calmly manage multiple projects. develop and drive defined communications plans to key audiences across the business
