This is a newly created role sitting with the EMEA COO function of this business. You will have a vital role, overseeing the relationship and performance of outsourced vendors, supporting the transformation activities and overseeing the effectiveness and efficient of the external services provided.


What you'll do:


  • Manage and maintain relationship with outsourcing vendors
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and underwriting guidelines
  • Manage contracts, agree statements of work and reach cost-effective solutions
  • Monitor performance standards and review vendor performance regularly
  • Identify risks related to outsourcing activities, such as data security and compliance
  • Optimise and maintain effectiveness on outsourcing processes
  • Reach mutually beneficial goals with key stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Collaborate with on-shore and off-shore teams
  • Manage the budget of outsourcing activities


What experience you'll bring:


  • Extensive experience in Insurance and an understanding of Underwriting Operations
  • Experience managing on-shore and off-shore teams and outsourced partners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Underwriting software and technology
  • Certifications such as CPCU, ARM are desirable, though not a pre-requisite
