Job Description:

We are seeking a creative individual to join our team as a Senior Graphic Designer to lead the brand's visual aesthetic and develop distinctive creative across all consumer touch points. If you are a creative visionary with a strategic mindset and a drive to push boundaries in design, we want to hear from you This is a unique opportunity to influence a brand's visual narrative and make a significant impact on our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in the beauty or adjacent sectors, whether within an in-house creative team or at an agency or studio. The role requires passion for design, collaboration, and strategic thinking.


The Designer will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, ecomm and CRM teams to create a cohesive brand identity.


This role will report into the Waldencast President.


Location: London, United Kingdom


Responsibilities: 

  • Design and produce marketing campaign assets, social graphics and ad units for new launches and monthly animations 
  • Design Sales and Marketing seasonal templates, invites and presentations
  • Concept 360 campaign execution and facilitate pre-production and presentations to stakeholders
  • Design monthly website updates, new product landing pages and blog stories
  • Manage and direct packshot photography for launches and evergreen content, including post-production and asset management
  • Design and edit paid and organic social content including gifs, motion graphics and short form video
  • Collaborate with Social Media Manager to produce high quality content and campaigns consistent with other touchpoints
  • Design and update in-store displays and visuals in collaboration with Commercial/Marketing
  • Design 2D retailer-facing communications and printed brand collateral
  • Work closely with NPD on packaging artwork
  • Supervise part-time freelancers and collaborate with design agencies to maximize efficiency and creativity in the design process.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in graphic design, preferable within the beauty, consumer or luxury industry either  in a design agency or in-house experience
  • Proficient in Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Bridge) 
  • Experience with web and app design tools including Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design capabilities and previous work in brand development
  • Elevated typographical instinct and approach with a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of best practices for image optimization, color profiles and video formats
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for staying updated on design trends and best practices
  • Experience with motion graphics and After Effects a plus
  • Knowledge of Shopify and HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong planning, tracking & organizing skills
