The role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering and Manufacturing Consultant for a contract role. The initial contract is until September 2024 however the project is for 2 years so there is potential for an extension of the contract.

The role is to support the design and delivery of the digital operation transformation. You will possess extensive knowledge in engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and process design. This role involves working closely with clients to optimize their manufacturing operations, improve efficiency, and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Duties will include

  • Collaborate and build rapport with the clients engineering and manufacturing teams to understand the current process and challenges and establish a best practice.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop customized future process solutions to address client-specific challenges and goals.
  • Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes that maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex manufacturing problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams.

Experience required

  • Extensive experience in engineering i.e automotive, Aerospace with Strong knowledge of manufacturing and engineering process and principles
  • Advantage if you have experience using MES, Teamcentre andOracle
  • MUST have a Consulting experience / background delivering the manufacturing and engineering processes for a client.
  • Stakeholder management skill
