We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EPR Data Migration Manager to lead and oversee the data migration process for our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the transition. This role requires a deep understanding of EPR systems, data migration methodologies, and healthcare data standards.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Management:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end data migration projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define data migration requirements and deliverables.

Data Migration Strategy:

  • Design and implement comprehensive data migration strategies and methodologies.
  • Ensure data migration aligns with business objectives, compliance standards, and quality expectations.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Data Analysis and Mapping:

  • Analyse and map source data to target EPR system structures.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and subject matter experts to validate data mappings and transformations.
  • Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data migration, data management, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale data migration projects, preferably within healthcare or EPR systems.
  • Strong project management skills with experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
  • Proficiency in data migration tools and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulatory requirements.
