We are working with a leading logistic company who are looking to recruit for a Sales Manager, the main duties will include manage and develop existing business relationships within a defined portfolio of existing Clients and leverage relationships to grow sales revenues and profits.


Other duties include

  • Develop high quality client relationships
  • Work closely with clients to accurately forecast volumes and revenues across all service types
  • Plan and manage sales activity in a productive and efficient manner in line with performance metrics as directed, and maintain a structured call cycle that meets Clients’ requirements
  • Manage and control pricing in line with authorised process
  • Manage a portfolio of budget volume and profit
  • Ensure timely renewal of contracts
  • Working with international freight companies


Experience needed

  • A strong knowledge of the UK and international freight and supply chain markets
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ relevant experience in account management sales
  • A strong operational understanding across ocean, air and multimodal products
  • A passion for delivering great service.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multitask.
  • Effective negotiator.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
