Sales Manager

We are working with a leading logistic company who are looking to recruit for a Sales Manager, the main duties will include manage and develop existing business relationships within a defined portfolio of existing Clients and leverage relationships to grow sales revenues and profits.
Other duties include
- Develop high quality client relationships
- Work closely with clients to accurately forecast volumes and revenues across all service types
- Plan and manage sales activity in a productive and efficient manner in line with performance metrics as directed, and maintain a structured call cycle that meets Clients’ requirements
- Manage and control pricing in line with authorised process
- Manage a portfolio of budget volume and profit
- Ensure timely renewal of contracts
- Working with international freight companies
Experience needed
- A strong knowledge of the UK and international freight and supply chain markets
- Minimum of 3+ years’ relevant experience in account management sales
- A strong operational understanding across ocean, air and multimodal products
- A passion for delivering great service.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multitask.
- Effective negotiator.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
