Overview
The firm is seeking highly motivated and talented Investment Associates to join its dynamic and growing London-based investment team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating, executing, and managing infrastructure investments, working closely with senior team members on large-scale transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on potential investment opportunities across various infrastructure sectors, including energy, transport, digital infrastructure, and utilities.
- Assist in the origination, structuring, and executing of large-cap infrastructure deals, working across geographies in partnership with global teams.
- Develop and present investment committee papers, offering critical insights on financial performance, market trends, and investment risks.
- Monitor the performance of existing portfolio assets, including financial reviews, value enhancement strategies, and supporting portfolio management initiatives.
- Support negotiations with investment partners, advisors, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct industry and market research to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with external advisers such as legal, financial, and technical experts to ensure comprehensive due diligence.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and the board.
Key Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in infrastructure, natural resources, or telco investment banking.
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills, with proven experience in deal execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- A strong understanding of the infrastructure investment landscape, including key market trends, regulatory frameworks, and competitive dynamics.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
