A day in the life of a General Manager:


  • Build Connections: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, attending regular service review meetings to maintain excellence
  • Lead a Winning Team: Recruit, train, and inspire a talented team, empowering each member to excel
  • Drive Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensuring top-tier service at every level
  • Create Memorable Events: Manage all hospitality for events and functions, delivering exceptional experiences
  • Manage Financials: Take ownership of full P&L responsibilities, meeting food and labour targets while driving financial success
  • Ensure Compliance: Uphold rigorous standards of cleanliness and safety, following all procedures and protocols


You'll be set up for success if you have:


  • Proven Leadership: Experience as a General Manager in independent schools or premium catering environments
  • Team Builder: Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and guiding successful teams
  • Commercial Savvy: Financially astute and commercially aware
