I am working with a market leader within the education sector who work across public sector frameworks across the UK. They are now looking to recruit a Senior Bid Writer to work from their North East office or have the option to work hybrid or remotely, the salary for this vacancy has a range of £35k to £40k.


This role can be based nationally as the choice to work remotely is a benefit my client offers , with quarterly visits to their head office.


Due to continued growth and the business supporting a substantial number of franchises within the organisation the team are now looking for the support from a Senior Bid Writer. This is a great opportunity for a bid writer with a couple of years experience who can produce high quality written tender material, with the ultimate goal to win new contracts and retain existing clients.


Duties


  • Working with the Bid Manager and wider team to support in producing winning tenders


  • Liaise with different departments to understand different funding stream operations to support with the process


  • Download potential business opportunities from tendering sites


  • Ensure all bids are are completed accurately and on time


  • Conduct research when needed to write, edit and check bids including evidence gathering to answer bid questions eg financial records and achievement rates



Desirable criteria


APMP foundation qualification

Experience within the education and training sector

Recruitment Checks

As this role will not include regulated activity with learners, a DBS is not required. However, you will be required to provide satisfactory references and prove their eligibility to work in the UK.
