Our client are currently expanding their Azure data platform and are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ingesting, cleansing, and modelling data to create reliable Kimball datasets, which serve as the foundation for our Business Intelligence reporting and Data Science initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ingest data from diverse sources, including on-premise SQL databases, REST APIs, Apache Kafka streams, and more.
  • Develop and implement cleansing rules to maintain data quality standards.
  • Design and model data into coherent Kimball datasets, including dimensions and facts.
  • Embrace a DevOps approach to software development, ensuring high-quality code through best practices such as building, linting, and rigorous testing.
  • Adopt a DevOps mindset for support, actively monitoring pipelines to ensure timely processing and uphold data quality standards.
