Full-Stack Java Software Engineer


Full-Stack Java Software Engineer is required by our client in Glasgow, Scotland to join a project team leading the innovation of their client's digital platforms. As Full-Stack Java Software Engineer you will be instrumental developing and delivering innovative Java software application solutions build using the framework React.


As Full-Stack Java Software Engineer you will take ownership in understanding requirements and design solutions, delivering time-sensitive projects, whilst conducting code reviews and ensuring a respect for clean and scalable coding standards. My client's software engineering approach is modern and follows modern Microservice architectures and deployment practises via continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.


**Working in a hybrid working culture as Full-Stack Java Software Engineer the expectation is that you will be onsite in Glasgow across to three days a week.**


Full-Stack Java Software Engineer contract profile required:

  • Proven experience as a Java Software Engineer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects developing solutions in Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in React or Angular frameworks and integrating RESTful APIs and working in Microservice architectures.
  • Good background in engineering real-time solutions or even-driven-architecture utilising Kafka or Rabbit MQ.
  • Well versed in Terraform and deploying solutions across CI/CD pipelines within Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating efficient, scalable solutions.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Full-Stack Java Software Engineer contract details include.

  • Start date: ASAP.
  • Contract: Until May 2025 – Strong likelihood of extension beyond this date.
  • Salary: Up to £273 a day - Inside IR35.
  • Days onsite: Hybrid, 3 days onsite.
  • Location: Glasgow, Scotland, UK
  • Interview times: ASAP.
