Risk Training Manager with a leading international bank in London
Are you passionate about risk management and skilled in training and development? We are delighted to partner with a globally recognised leading international bank with headquarters in London seeking a dynamic individual to join their Global Training function, supporting the EMEA region. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing risk training initiatives, collaborating closely with regional counterparts and the Global Risk Management Group.
Key Responsibilities of the Risk Training Manager:
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to develop and execute the global Risk Management Group training plan and the EMEA Risk Training Plan
- Take ownership of end-to-end project management for Risk Training in the EMEA region, including needs assessment, engagement of subject matter experts, program design, content creation, record keeping, and data analytics
- Oversee the production of training content, ensuring it meets high standards of quality and effectiveness
- Manage both in-person and online training programs, ensuring they are engaging, effective, and aligned with organisational objectives
- Oversee the design and implementation of the EMEA risk training plan, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the region.
Experience Required of the Risk Training Manager:
- Demonstrated experience in risk and compliance training within a financial services environment, with a minimum of 3-5 years
- Training qualifications and/or instructional design certification are essential for this role
- Proven track record in managing the production, maintenance, and execution of a regional training plan, including the development of training content
- Strong attention to detail, evidenced by the creation of high-quality content that effectively conveys key risk messages, robust metrics and reporting, and full utilisation of the global learning management system
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to develop others, work autonomously, and consistently deliver results within tight deadlines
