We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Quality Inspection Team Leader to join the FormelD Operations team.For you to be successful in this position you will be responsible for the below, but not limited to:Responsibilities:Supporting to ensure customer containment and rework activities are successfully delivered on-time and at the right cost and quality ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded at all timesSupport achievement of Customer Key Project Indicators (KPI’s)Supervising a team of permanent Quality Inspectors and temporary support requirements as well as adhoc team members, such as Mechanics, ElectriciansResponsible for ensuring all team members are adequately trained and are provided with all necessary tools to perform their duties to the best of their abilityEnsuring successful coordination, organisation and execution of quality containment and rework projects to protect the OEM’s productionEnsuring all acceptable parts are passed to or accepted on-line ensuring no disruption is caused to the customers build for which Formel D would be held responsibleResponsible for all new employee onboarding and induction according to company standardTraining & setting the standard requirements for the team on all quality inspection/reworking activities to company standards including the use of and application of eQCC (Formel D’s Electronic Data Management System)Conducting random checks and audits to ensure process adherence and to ensure compliance with test results and quality standardsCreating Statement of Work for all projects of reworking and Quality Inspection activitiesEnsure a smooth flow of materialsInspect and rework parts as and when requiredEnsuring eQCC is used for data capture for all inspection and rework projectsLiaising directly with the OEM and Customers / Suppliers (internal and external)Support to ensure Timesheets are accurately delivered 100% on-timeBe an advocate to ensure unnecessary waste is kept to a minimumAccidents: Support to ensure all accidents are reported on shiftAccident Prevention: Support to ensure near misses are reported and encourage accident preventionProcedures & Reporting: Support to ensure on-site accident procedures are followedBe an advocate for continuous improvement, constantly looking for opportunity to improve all aspects of our servicePromote and develop relationships with both internal and external customersSupport to ensure standard HR processes are followed to document and resolve employee performance and discipline issuesRequirement:Experienced working with OEM’s and Suppliers in the Automotive industryPrevious proven experience in a similar positionHighly experienced in conducting and supporting Quality AuditsExceptional leader and mentor – Leading the team by exampleMotivate the team ensuring full engagement in the company and on specific projects to which they are assignedExperienced working with ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) Experienced in customer management Good working knowledge of eQCC equipmentA keen eye for detail and good organisational skillsKnowledge of MS Office toolsGood communication skills, teamworking abilities and driven takes initiative to succeedAdhering to all Company standard operating procedures and health and safety proceduresWorking according to the company quality and housekeeping standardsClean UK/ or equivalent Driving LicenceRTW in the UK without restrictions (PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP)
