Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Marketing & Communications who is an advocate for sustainability, has excellent people skills, and strong hands-on communications and marketing skills. You’ll be strategic and organised individual who will enjoy working in a role that offers lots of autonomy and the opportunity to really make an impact.


As Head of Marketing & Communications you will be leading the creation, delivery and analysis of campaigns and activities that will promote and raise the profile of this industry leading company via online and offline marketing and PR activities, as well as events They are looking for a strategic, highly organised Head of Marketing & Communications with strong business acumen to help enhance their reputation and revenue even further. You will be working closely with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, and managing agencies.


This is a varied Marketing & Communications role where you will be responsible for developing all aspects of the marketing and PR/communications strategy, with the support of a junior marketer and relevant marketing and digital agencies.


What do I need?

  • 5+ years in a senior communications, PR, or marketing role from manufacturing/utilities/renewable energy/sustainability or utilities.
  • A positive, confident outlook and flexible mindset
  • Brilliant leadership skills
  • Hands-on experience delivering multi-channel campaigns that raise brand awareness
  • Excellent knowledge of internal and external communications strategies
  • A degree in a relevant subject such as Communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism
  • Creative content creation skills – strong copywriting and ideally basic graphic design knowledge
  • Driving license preferred
