I am currently working with a client in the financial services industry who is looking for Lead Full Stack Engineer for an initial 6-month contract. The requirement will likely extend beyond the initial 6 months and will be outside IR35.


Contract

  • Outside IR35
  • Remote
  • 6 months with option to go permanent if right fit
  • Full time but can be part time for the right candidate


Must have

  • Advanced proficiency in React.js (hooks, state management, component lifecycle) with strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Extensive experience with Python (preferably Flask, Django, or FastAPI) for building robust and scalable backend systems, including API development and microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Rust for systems-level programming, performance optimization, and concurrent, secure software development.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and integrate with complex RESTful and GraphQL APIs, with an emphasis on authentication, authorization, and security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
  • Understanding of digital asset management systems, including workflows for data storage, retrieval, indexing, and distribution.
