Due to recent explosive growth, our client is now on the hunt for a sales superstar.


They are a fast-growing funded start-up that is using deep learning to build automatic sign language translation. Our technology is grounded in world-leading AI research developed at the University of Surrey with a focus on photo-realistic video generation and machine translation. We now have video translation tools translating from English into British Sign Language (BSL) and American Sign Language (ASL). Over the last 18 months, we’ve won projects from across the globe, from airports, airlines, train companies and stations, as well as some of the best-known entertainment, retail and finance brands.

The are growing the Sales and Marketing team and are now recruiting a Client Relationship Executive, offering the opportunity to be part of the team driving the revenue strategy of a fast-growing SaaS company. They offer a remote working environment, equipment, free sign language classes, a share options package and opportunities to get together, celebrate successes and work through challenges together.

Position Overview:

The CRE will be responsible for helping revenue growth and working with all revenue-generating departments, including sales, marketing, and customer success. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in SaaS and sign language, a drive to delight clients with quick responses and the ability to really understand their needs. We are looking forward to providing training, support and mentorship to the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Execution:

  • Be part of the team driving our comprehensive revenue strategy aligned with our goals.


Sales Role:

  • Report on key sales metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Provide the initial point of contact for sales leads, giving quotes, answering queries and qualifying the lead.
  • Deliver demos, presentation and proposals specifically tailored to the client
  • Follow up with any queries and close the sale.


Marketing Oversight:

  • Work with the Marketing team as needed so that all materials and tools are up to date and relevant; align with them to share key developments and prospective client case studies.


Product Understanding:

  • Work closely with the Product team to share client needs and requirements, as well as a clear understanding of our roadmap; ensure our product is sold in the most efficient way to the most ideal customer profile.


Customer Success:

  • Support the strategy of turning “one and done” clients to recurring and embedding them in our suite of translation tools.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Ideally 1 years work experience in a technology product/services, sales environment.
  • Relevant degree, apprentice qualifications or enhanced relevant experience.
  • Experienced ability in achieving targets in a revenue generation environment.
  • Understanding of, or a keen interest to learn about, SaaS metrics, finance and market dynamics.
  • Experience with technical products and a wish to learn technical client integration.
  • A tenacious approach to sales and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of using a CRM (e.g. HubSpot) and other sales/marketing automation tools.


Hours

This is a full-time position, with normal virtual office hours of 9am to 6pm, although flexibility is offered to suit reasonable personal circumstances. We meet in London once a fortnight, with a majority remote set-up. What matters most to us is strong collaboration, meeting agreed milestones and the delivery of high-quality work.
