JOB- Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

LOCATION- Shoreditch (Hybrid working)

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £40,000 to £60,000 per annum (plus benefits)


Premier Engineering is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our client’s manufacturing team in Shoreditch. Our client is a leader in the manufacturing industry, known for their commitment to quality and innovation. They are looking for a skilled professional to oversee and enhance their operational processes and strategies.


The Operations Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager within the manufacturing sector
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Relevant qualifications in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (BSc, MBA, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and operational best practices
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing management software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and process optimization


The Operations Manager role will involve:

  • Overseeing manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality production
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Managing and leading a team of production staff, ensuring proper training and development
  • Collaborating with supply chain, engineering, and quality assurance teams to meet production goals
  • Monitoring key performance indicators and preparing detailed performance reports
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing Lean manufacturing principles
  • Managing budgets and optimizing resource allocation
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations
