Remote CAD Technician – Join the 3DEC Consultancy Team


Are you a skilled CAD Technician ready to take on a new challenge in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment?


We are a leading UK-based consultancy with a global footprint and are expanding our design team, looking for experienced CAD Technicians.


We are offering a 6-month contract, remote based work, a competitive day rate, and immediate start.


In this role, you'll be instrumental in producing detailed 2D CAD drawings and planning designs for a variety of cutting-edge technology projects, especially in the Data Centre and Workplace sectors. You’ll collaborate closely with our design team, ensuring every drawing meets 3DEC’s high standards and exceeds client expectations.

You'll also play a key role in shaping the future of our evolving BIM/CAD team, contributing to the refinement of CAD standards and work practices.


This is your opportunity to work independently while being part of a strong, collaborative team, with potential for Revit exposure and further career development.


What You’ll Do:


  • Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings and planning designs for daily project needs
  • Collaborate within a team and operate independently when required
  • Help enhance CAD standards and streamline processes for better efficiency


What You’ll Need:


  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (a must)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • ICT or MEP project experience is essential, and infrastructure experience is welcomed
  • Familiarity with Data Centre and Workplace projects is a plus
