Software Engineer – (TypeScript, React, AWS)

Paying £45-50K
Permanent Manchester, Remote/Hybrid Options (1 day per month Office based – applicants need to be no further than 1 hour 30 minutes’ drive away)
Our client is seeking a talented Software Engineer with expertise in TypeScript, React, and AWS to join a growing team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
Key responsibilities of the Software Engineer:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using TypeScript and React.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement serverless architecture and services using AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.).
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance and user experience.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Key requirements for the Software Engineer:
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on TypeScript and React.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
