Overview of the role

We are currently recruiting an experienced 2nd Line Outsource Engineer who will be based in Winchester at one of our Architectural customer’s sites. This role will be joining our already established onsite engineer who is providing support for our client. You will be bringing your IT knowledge and customer experience to provide an efficient, approachable and streamlined methodology to fixing their IT issues. We provide a great progression path for our engineers with training to help you excel in your IT career. As one of our 2nd Line IT Engineers you will be expected to work on our client’s site 5 days a week. There will also be travel to London once a month.

Duties and responsibilities of our 2nd Line Outsource Engineer – Winchester:

Although you will be on site at one of our clients you will be an important member of the Tailor Made Technologies team, you will be the face of the company every day. As our 2nd Line IT Engineer, you will be responsible for; providing outstanding customer care and support through efficient ticket management, providing first response fixes, resolving incidents and requests or escalating when necessary, managing working queues and prioritising events, complying with SLA’s, supporting the service desk and working efficiently and productively to ensure a excellent customer experience. All support and training will be given to ensure you have what you need to excel in your career at Tailor Made Technologies.



Your previous experience:

  • Experience with a service desk ticketing system
  • If you have experience in any of the below, we’d like to hear from you (not all required):
  • Windows Desktops configuration and support experience
  • Windows Server configuration and support experience
  • Office 365 support experience
  • Microsoft Exchange configuration and support experience
  • Active Directory configuration and administration
  • VMware support experience
  • Citrix support experience

  • ITIL knowledge
