Our client is an innovative PE backed technology organisation dedicated to revolutionising decision-making processes through cutting-edge technology.
Job Description:
As an Anaplan Model Builder , you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the clients chosen System Integrator to deliver efficient and effective management information solutions using Anaplan.
You will work closely with the Workstream Lead to understand, document, and design processes and reports that align with the business's reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, and 3rd party system integrators to define functional design details.
- Design, configure, and test solutions in an Agile environment.
- Stay updated with the latest Anaplan technologies and industry best practices.
- Develop dynamic models, complex business rules, and dashboards in Anaplan.
- Seamlessly integrate data sources with Anaplan through various methods.
- Utilise advanced formula writing for accurate forecasting and predictive modeling.
- Ensure accurate tracking and management of model changes through version control practices.
- Design intuitive and visually appealing dashboards in Anaplan.
- Provide training, support, and user guides to maximise Anaplan model usability.
- Conduct maintenance and updates to Anaplan models post go-live.
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews and contribute to release planning sessions.
- Arrange show and tell sessions with end-users to ensure alignment and increase familiarity with the system.
- Produce high-quality documentation for all deliverables.
Requirements:
- Previous consulting experience or Financial Planning and Analysis experience, ideally in a Big 4 or equivalent organisation.
- Strong data modeling skills with experience in building financial planning and forecasting models.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and multi-dimensional data architecture.
- Previous experience with EPM tools, ideally Anaplan.
- Proven track record in presenting analysis and outputs to stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and adaptability in handling complex financial data and models.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in building and maintaining Anaplan models, including dimensions, hierarchies, and relationships.
- Proficiency in creating complex calculations, formulas, and logic within Anaplan modules.
