Membrane Protein Scientist

Client

The client has had considerable year on year growth and we have worked extensively with the client placing over 40 people into their teams and receiving positive feedback from this. They are a large biotech that focus on their pioneering research. Role

The role is for a protein biochemist to work on their drug discovery projects. You would be carrying out the expression and purification of recombinant proteins including multi-pass membrane proteins for structural studies. This role works cross functionally with other parts of their protein team and would use a number of purification techniques and platforms that allows them to work with their team to achieve new information that helps inform their drug discovery strategy.

Requirements

• PhD in relevant discipline
• Experience working on multipass membrane proteins
• Experience with biochemical techniques including chromatography
