Commercial Dispute Resolution Lawyer: 2-7PQE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join a prestigious and forward-thinking law firm based in Surrey. Our client is seeking a talented individual with a strong background in handling complex dispute matters to become an integral part of their dynamic team.


About the Role: As a Dispute Resolution Lawyer, you will manage a diverse and challenging caseload across various areas of dispute resolution. You will work closely with clients, providing expert legal advice and developing effective strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a broad range of dispute resolution cases including, Property and Boundary Disputes, Landlord and Tenant Issues, Contentious Trusts and Probate, Commercial and Partnership Disputes, Contract Disputes, Contested Wills, Estates, and Trusts, Inheritance Act Claims, Debt Recovery and Enforcement of Judgments, Employment Disputes including Unfair Dismissal and Discrimination & Breach of Contract and Settlement Agreements
  • Provide comprehensive legal advice to a diverse client base, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments to deliver integrated legal solutions.
  • Engage in business development activities to promote the firm's services and expand the client portfolio.
  • Stay updated with the latest legal developments and precedents in dispute resolution to maintain and enhance expertise.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years PQE in dispute resolution.
  • Proven experience in handling a wide range of complex dispute cases independently.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in various forums.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Proactive and business-oriented mindset, with experience in contributing to business development initiatives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative and work autonomously.
  • Commitment to professional growth and staying abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
