The role of Junior Import/Export Coordinator sits in our Freight team within one of our acquired businesses, CMI Logistics LTD, who pride themselves on offering a quality driven and reliable global freight forwarding service.

We are looking for a motivated and eager Junior Import/Export Administrator to join our team in Bradford.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of import and export clearance processes. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work on various computer systems. Also, you will have a customer-focused mindset and an interest in developing deeper knowledge of deep sea operations.

Responsibilities of a Junior Import/Export Coordinator:

·         Assisting with the processing of import and export customs clearances

·         Inputting relevant information into customs systems to produce entries.

·         Communicating with customers regarding import and export requirements

·         Providing support to the customs team to ensure compliance.

·         Preparation of customer quotations

·         Checking documentation and inputting onto the Sequoia system

·         Handling FAS payments

·         Invoicing of jobs

Skills and experience:

·         Some knowledge of import/export procedures (training provided)

·         Computer literate with experience of various systems

·         Familiarity with Chief, CDS and GVMS systems is durable (training provided)

·         Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

·         Customer service focus
