About the Role:


This role reports directly to the Director of Origination – PPA (UCOM) and serves as a strategic Business Partner within the company, playing a crucial role in driving the organic growth of our generation portfolio. The primary objective of this position is to expand the number of generators on our UC platform, with a strategic focus on coordinating the efforts of our Corporate Development (CP) and Optimization (GP) groups.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the daily production, analysis, and reporting of all current and future generation assets in the UK.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly market condition analyses, including power flow assessments and monitoring upcoming regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Ensure full transparency in algorithmic matching metrics to achieve optimal market positioning, maximize customer value, and maintain high retention of generation customers.
  • Develop and enhance control and analytical tools and refine existing processes to meet the company’s P&L and growth objectives.



Qualifications:


  • Proven track record in negotiating and closing PPAs with a variety of off-takers.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy market, regulatory environment, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
