A US Firm with renowned reputation within the finance space, is looking to recruit a mid-level Solicitor in their financial restructuring team.


You will be working on a wide variety of matters within financial and business restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency matters, as well as distressed and special situations transactions; both domestically, but also cross-border due to the firm's strong footprint in NY, Europe and South African exposure. The partner’s of the team have extensive expertise in this field and have been increasing the creditor/investor-focused offering, alongside representing debtors, secured and unsecured lenders, borrowers, asset purchasers and other distressed entities.


The team is not siloed and also frequently interacting with the private finance partners, so you will get the chance to advise on some general finance transactions. This is an opportunity to join a medium sized team, known for their lean and agile structure, allowing for high-level involvement with clients at the early stages of your career.


Due to increased demand, the requirements for the role are the following:

  • UK Qualified Lawyer (preferred) or Common Law Lawyer, with at least 2 years worth of restructuring experience in London
  • Magic Circle, Silver Circle, US or Top-International Background
  • Strong Academics and commercial acumen
