Who We’re Looking For:
Top-Tier Expertise: Hold a First or Upper Second Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar subject from a leading engineering university and bring experience in medical device design and development with a track record of successful product launches.
Proactive Attitude: Demonstrate a can-do mindset, flexibility, quick learning abilities, and excellent communication skills to provide a responsive service to clients and work effectively within the global team.
Relationship Skills: Forge strong relationships with clients and lead and work effectively with global, multidisciplinary teams.
Quality Focus: Maintain rigorous standards of excellence and consistently utilise and enhance our quality systems.
Project Management: Manage both technical and commercial aspects of projects, along with your workload and that of your team.
Mentorship: Develop and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to their training and recruitment.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in SolidWorks and the ability to develop detailed 3D CAD models and drawings.
Proficiency in hand calculations and simulation software including FEA, and injection moulding simulation.
Experience in designing for various manufacturing methods, especially injection moulding and automatic assembly.
Strong prototyping skills, including testing, measuring, and iterating designs.
Ability to develop manufacturing and assembly strategies and tooling concepts.
Problem-solving skills for diagnosing client issues on-site.
