One of RED's Top Global Clients in London is hiring for a Application Integration Developer to join their strategic and innovative software development project


Key expectations:


Strong experience with application integration in a mixed-platform environment including:

  • In-house developed and 3rd-party application estate with extensive integration customization (Java/Perl/Python/PowerShell)
  • Microsoft SQL/SSRS Server 2016/2019
  • Windows Server 2016/2019
  • Sybase
  • RHEL6/7/8


Proficiency in scripting tools

  • Windows batch
  • PowerShell scripting
  • T-SQL
  • Linux Shell
  • Perl
  • Python


Understanding of secret management concepts including:

  • Password-less and certificate-based authentication
  • Plain text password discovery and remediation
  • Hashicorp Enterprise Vault management


Understanding of different authentication models including:

  • Windows Active Directory
  • UNIX groups and power broker roles
  • Differences between SQL vs Windows/AD authentication in SQL server
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services including:
  • Ability to manipulate tables, stored procedures, reports, report subscriptions and data sources programmatically (ideally scripted without manual intervention)
  • Familiarity with SQL Server / SSRS service administration
