Role Overview


Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a growing Digital IT Services Provider, based in the UK, who specialise in workplace, network, and cloud transformation. The successful Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the on time and on budget quality project delivery, minimising risk, communicating at all levels, organising and problem solving throughout the project lifecycle.


Senior Project Manager - Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party/vendors to ensure projects are executed flawlessly.
  • Follow established project management methodologies (e.g., APM, PRINCE2, PMI) to maintain standards.
  • Drive improvements proactively across all aspects of project execution.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the businesses project management processes, templates, and standards.
  • Initiate projects, manage feasibility, budgets, teams, and resources for on-time, within scope, and on-budget delivery.
  • Implement effective change management processes to manage project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan projects according to scope and customer requirements, defining roles, goals, objectives, schedules, and timelines.
  • Lead implementation planning and rollout activities for project solutions.
  • Monitor project actions, decisions, risks, and assumptions, ensuring comprehensive tracking.


Senior Project Manager - Key Skills:

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and team management abilities.
  • Extensive experience in directing projects across their entire lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling, planning, and conducting effective meetings.
  • Financial management including budgeting and control within projects.
  • Expertise in risk management and maintaining project quality.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, software, and best practices.
  • Competency in project monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Experience ideally in managing Business & Network Transformation and Cloud adoption projects. (Azure, M365, Fortinet familiarity advantageous)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
