Forge Talent are currently engaged with a well-established retail brand based in the heart of Manchester who are looking to hire an Interim Finance Manager. The role will be for 6 months and could lead to permanent. Reporting into the Finance Director and working alongside a strong finance team.


  • Managing the Accounting Team
  • Production of the balance sheet and income statement .
  • Preparation of Annual Financial Statements, Adjustments and Reconciliations and statutory accounts: Under both UK GAAP
  • Management of monthly stock close and reconciliation of opening to closing stock
  • Intra group reconciliations
  • Establishing the accounting policies of the company, putting in place the systems and procedures of the company and providing the required accounting and management data.
  • Ensuring that above accounting policies, systems and procedures follow local regulations.
  • Implementing the policies, procedures, and systems in the scope of directives given by the Group.
  • Recording all accounting operations of all companies the post holder: o respects the accounting procedures in place of analyses all accounts including the customers and suppliers accounts of issues the different declarations linked to the fiscal legislation.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Worked in a similar project role previously.
  • Solid communicator and able to present information,
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Be able to drive change and make improvements
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong systems and excel knowledge
  • Be immediately available or on 1 weeks notice
