THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESWe’re looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer who can lead technical delivery, mentor junior engineers and drive best-in-class engineering standards. You’ll take ownership of full electrical design delivery across projects of all sizes while collaborating closely with other disciplines.• Lead and manage end-to-end Electrical Design for projects of varying scale, ensuring excellent client service.• Oversee quality control for electrical engineering outputs across multiple teams.• Manage project costs and contribute to overall financial performance.• Coordinate and support both project teams and cross-functional groups.• Travel to client sites and project locations for meetings, surveys and training as needed.• Collaborate with other offices and teams to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE• Degree in Electrical Engineering.• 6+ years’ experience in Building Services Consultancy design.• Proven ability to deliver detailed designs through the full design cycle.• Advanced user of Amtech and Relux/Dialux.• BIM experience advantageous.• Chartership desirable.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS• Strong theoretical and practical grounding in electrical engineering, with a good understanding of related building services disciplines.• Expertise in the following areas: Lighting and Emergency Lighting, Small Power and Data, Fire Alarms, CCTV and Intruder Systems, MV/LV Power Distribution, Containment and BMS.• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritising effectively.• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design and installation.• High attention to detail and strong interpersonal communication skills.• Capable of leading projects internally and externally, ensuring client satisfaction, profitability and repeat business.• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to make prompt, informed decisions.• Strong commercial awareness.BENEFITS• Competitive salary up to £90,000 PA• Paid overtime, TOIL and flexible working options• Annual performance reviews and performance-related bonus• Annual wellbeing payment• Company-matched pension scheme and death-in-service benefit• 28 days annual leave• Support for further education and Master’s programmes• Additional paid leave at 5-year service milestone• Chartership pathway with paid professional memberships• Annual team development weekend• Employee Assistance Programme• Annual health checks• Flexible and remote working year-round• One month per year remote working from any location• Structured people-first development framework• Bike-to-Work scheme• Quarterly and annual employee recognition with financial rewardsVISA SPONSORSHIP IS NOT OFFERED FOR THIS ROLE.
