Platform/Support Engineer - Leading Crypto Firm, Dubai (full relocation provided)


We have partnered with a leading crypto trading firm who are backed by a multi-billion dollar ($bn+) investment company to hire a Platform Engineer for their rapidly growing infrastructure team.


The core focus of this role will be supporting the infrastructure and environments which are central to their core trading business. This will include responding to tickets/requests to manage the various environments as efficiently as possible with a big focus on automation. This is a small team split across Dubai & London who are responsible for handling all support issues. In order to provide the proper coverage to the business, there is also an out of hours on-call rota as part of this role.


As a small team there are also a number of long-term projects you will have the opportunity to work on, alongside your support responsibilities. The expectation is that your time will be split apporximately 80% support vs 20% projects.


Core requirements:

Experienced with all of the below;

  • AWS
  • Linux
  • Terraform
  • Ansible
  • Docker


Nice to have:

  • Coding experience in Python or Rust
  • DevOps / SRE experience
  • Experience in financial services (specifically crypto) highly beneficial
