Role Overview

As a Senior Trademark Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's trademark attorneys and solicitors in the management and protection of clients' trademark portfolios. The successful candidate must have prior experience in a similar role within a busy trademark team and be comfortable handling high-volume, high-profile work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing trademark portfolios for a range of high-profile clients across various industries
  • Conducting trademark searches and preparing reports
  • Preparing and filing UK, EU, and international trademark applications
  • Managing trademark renewals, oppositions, and disputes
  • Drafting and submitting responses to office actions
  • Handling assignments, recordals, and other transactional trademark matters
  • Liaising with clients, foreign associates, and trademark offices worldwide
  • Providing strategic trademark advice and portfolio management support
  • Assisting in business development and client relationship management
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant deadlines and maintaining accurate records

Requirements

  • CITMA Qualified (essential)
  • Proven experience in a Senior Trademark Paralegal role within a busy trademark team
  • Strong knowledge of UK, EU, and international trademark procedures
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Proficiency in IP management systems and MS Office
