The purpose of this role is to proactively and effectively lead the efficient operation of the company. To support and guide the Principals in developing and delivering the business and operational objectives of the company, in addition to working directly with the wider team.

This is an opportunity for an individual to join a company with ambitious plans.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Principals, to agree and document the long-term strategy for the business, develop the corporate structure, create action plans and monitor progress against key milestones
  • Convene and chair board meetings
  • Oversee the financial operations, including accounting
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders to gain insight to the business and control environment
  • Ensure standardisation of processes and procedures across the business
  • Development and improvement of management information, assess and potentially upgrade the IT infrastructure (including AI)
  • Assume responsibility for the design, implementation and effective embedding of all governance and control actions
  • Review the operational effectiveness of the business, developing proposals for improvement where appropriate and establishing plans for delivery
  • Show commitment to overall operational process, customer experience and compliance standards


About you:

  • Experience in a Chief Operating Officer or Director of Operations role.
  • Experience with the implementation of information and management systems
  • Ability to execute strategic vision and drive operational effectiveness.
  • Evidence of having improved operational efficiency.
  • Effective decision-making skills and ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Accountancy Qualification, desirable.
