I am currently partnered with a top UK law firm in both London and Leeds - they're looking for someone with previous Property Litigation experience to join them on a permanent basis - working as their new Housing Management & Property Litigation Paralegal.


The firms' Property Litigation team is one of the largest in England and Wales - they act for over 100 Registered Providers on all aspects of Housing Management and Property Litigation.


As the successful Property Litigation Paralegal - you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:


- Assisting Solicitors and other Fee-Earners in the day-to-day running of cases and files

- Drafting, preparing and amending legal documentation (claim forms, pleadings, witness statements, etc)

- Conducting legal research in relation to cases and files

- Liaising with Court prior to trials to ensure paperwork is sent and received

- Conducting advocacy in the County Court

- Attending Court to assist Barristers and other Fee-EARNERS

- Occasionally undertaking site visits

To be considered for this Paralegal opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:


- Have a minimum of 2:2 LLB (or equivalent)

- Ideally, have a completed LPC (or be studying your LPC)

- Have previous experience within Property Litigation

- Ideally, have experienced dealing with Private Landlords and/or Registered Providers

- Be able to conduct effective legal research

- Be confident in all MS applications

- Be able to commute to the London or Leeds office a minimum of three days a week
