Ignata Finance have been retained exclusively to recruit an experienced and conscientious Finance Manager to join the private Family Office of a British high net worth entrepreneur. This is a fantastic opportunity that would best suit someone who is comfortable to work with autonomy, agility and possesses a strong ability to build trusted relationships. The role reports directly to the Principal and Group CFO.


Key responsibilities:


  • Act as primary point of contact for key senior stakeholders
  • Support the Principal with ad hoc financial projects as and when required
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, KYC and reporting requirements
  • Work closely with third party legal and professional advisors and other key stakeholders.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial oversight for personal projects/assets
  • Management of cashflow forecasting
  • Communicate financial insight in a clear and understandable manner to the Principal and other family members.
  • Manage daily bank reconciliations of multicurrency P&L’s across key assets (personal residences with international locations, aircraft, yachts and cars) so family members have a good understanding of expenditure
  • Post supplier invoices to Xero and ensure payment in a timely manner
  • Responsibility for quarterly management accounts, ensuring accuracy of the data (P&L’s, Balance Sheet and cash flow reports)
  • Support CFO with financial and MI reporting covering monthly, quarterly, annual P&L, Balance Sheet reports
  • Project based work to improve internal systems and technologies for the business
  • Ad-hoc finance and administration tasks for the business
  • Assist the CFO and Head of Finance on other projects across the Principal’s business interests as and when required


About You:


  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with advisors, family members, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience within Family Office (preferable)
  • Agile and an ability to pivot to meet ad hoc requests
  • Discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
  • A mature, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a small team with autonomy.


Working Pattern:


  • Remote with occasional days in the London Office (Location must be within an hour of London)
  • Salary: £80,000 pa
