MacGregor Black is delighted to partner with a Global FMCG business in their search for a Commercial Accountant. This is a permanent position based near North Riding of Yorkshire.

As the Commercial Accountant you will play a crucial role in the financial operations, providing insightful analysis and strategic support to drive business performance. This position requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to our company's financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare analyse, and report on financial statements and business performance metrics.
• Collaborate with various departments to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
• Manage and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
• Participate in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
