CricViz works with high-profile clients across these verticals such as Sky, BBC and Disney Star (Broadcasters), premier franchise cricket leagues (such as the IPL, SA20 and Big Bash) as well as Major Federations (such as the ECB, Cricket South Africa, Cricket Australia and Cricket West Indies) - our current market position creates a wealth of growth opportunities and the business is now looking to scale rapidly to capitalise on this potential.


Role Overview:


CricViz has identified an opportunity to enhance and grow its offering across its Analytics Services businesses (comprising Performance & Broadcast and Media) with new insights and product-led offerings and will need to develop and execute a strategy to align with our ambitious growth plans.

CricViz is therefore looking to appoint a Head of Analytics and Advisory Services, who will lead the growth and evolution of our work servicing our global client base. This will include providing leadership and oversight to an ever-expanding team of analysts tasked with delivering CricViz services on on-site and remotely


Key Responsibilities:


  • Help define and execute the Services Strategy at CricViz, leveraging our database and world-leading insights to support the company’s mission in being the world leader in maximizing the value of data in cricket.
  • Ensure we have a strong and capable analyst team, that are optimally organized to deliver our commitments in a way that is profitable but also enjoyable and sustainable.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and the leads across our key verticals, including Data Science and Product, to ensure CricViz’s Service offerings are best-in-class.
  • Find opportunities to enhance our existing offering with the differentiated insight and ensure it resonates with an increasingly diverse audience.
  • Working with the Sales team, develop opportunities across Performance & Broadcast and Media verticals, ensuring we maximize revenue and capitalize on opportunities to raise and enhance the profile of CricViz in all markets.
  • Working with Product team, understand how our Products complement our Service offerings. Ensure that we use our privileged position in the cricket landscape, whether within the dug-out or comms box to educate, inform and enable clients on the complementary role of our product offering.
  • Extend and deepen partnerships where relevant (for example, with 3rd party graphics providers), identifying and executing opportunities for CricViz offering to extend further along the Production value chain
  • Be a role model for positivity and collaboration across the business, building and maintaining strong relationships across all key business functions and ensuring that any challenges are highlighted and addressed in a constructive way.

Key Requirements:


  • Background in Performance or Broadcast Analysis, or both, for a leading analytics company
  • Experience in managing and leading a geographically dispersed, global and diverse team
  • Expert knowledge of all formats of cricket is essential
  • Established reputation from working in live Broadcast or Professional team environments is essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, to support a strong involvement in the wider leadership team of CricViz
  • Experience in working directly with stakeholders in the broadcast and professional sports ecosystem
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with high-profile clients in the Performance & Broadcast and Media space
  • A willingness to travel around the world as required to provide CricViz’s on-site services
