Software Tester - Kendal - £28K - 36K


Non Negotiable - This role is based in Kendal 3 days a week, you must be a commutable distance from the offices and be able to drive in order to commute to this position.


We are looking for an experienced Software Tester to join a leading tech-for-good software house based in Kendal. You will be working across the full software testing life cycle on both manual and automation testing and will be working closely with the software development and project management teams.


You’ll be given autonomy and will get the opportunity to contribute to some really interesting projects, that are making a massive tangible contribution to society, both in the UK and overseas.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small but growing business where you will be part of an extremely friendly and welcoming team, with excellent staff retention.


This is a hybrid position so you must be able to reliably travel to Kendal. Occasional travel may also be a part of this role.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work across the full software testing lifecycle
  • Create/develop test schedules
  • Implementation and integration of new processes
  • Liaise with colleagues, suppliers and end users
  • Analyse and interpret project requirements
  • Offer support to external clients when there are escalations
  • Product demonstrations on the more complex systems
