The Job
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly experienced Tax Director to lead our dynamic tax department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee the tax division, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing expert tax advice tailored to their business needs.
- Compliance & Advisory: Lead complex tax planning and compliance engagements, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation and advising on international tax matters.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your extensive network and expertise to grow the firm's tax services.
- Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest tax regulations and industry trends, ensuring the firm’s practices are cutting-edge.
Candidate Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualified:Essential professional qualifications with extensive post-qualification experience.
- Proven Leadership: Significant experience in a senior tax role within a reputable accountancy firm or similar environment.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of UK and international tax laws, with the ability to navigate complex tax issues.
- Client-Focused: Demonstrable experience in managing a diverse portfolio of clients and delivering tailored tax solutions.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business development skills with a proven track record of growing client bases and revenue.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
