I have partnered with a Financial Services company that are leading the way in democratising access to and educating about alternative investments. They support over 32,000 advisors who oversee more than $4 trillion in network assets.


I am seeking a Product Designer who will be an individual contributor on the Product Design team, reporting to the Head of Product Design.


The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging creativity to address complex challenges within the wealth management industry, focusing on user groups such as independent financial advisors and asset managers.


Responsibilities


  • Create intuitive and elegant product experiences to address the challenges identified by our users and business stakeholders.
  • Lead the end-to-end design process of new features, from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute on experiences.
  • Develop design artifacts such as journey maps, flows, wireframes, and prototypes to foster a shared understanding of the product vision within the team.
  • Participate in user research, usability studies, and other UX research methods to gain insights into our users' needs and behaviors.
  • Deliver high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate requirements to Engineering.
  • Present rationale for design decisions to leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Regularly give and receive feedback on designs and strategic product decisions.
  • Utilise and contribute to our evolving design system.


Qualifications


  • 4+ years of design experience.
  • Ability to translate business goals and complex flows into simple experiences.
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating interaction and visual design skills.
  • Solid understanding of industry standards, design best practices, and trends.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools (Invision, Principle, Framer, etc.).
  • Resourceful self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Collaborative team player with high EQ and a sense of empathy.
  • Ability to produce polished deliverables at a standard of craft.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
