Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in creating digital strategies based on solid analysis that transforms sports organisations
  • Production of content and oversight of social media channels for a range of sports clients
  • Use your editing skills and strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop to create eye-catching social content
  • Determine and clarify a range of strategic and operational problems through client consultation
  • Analyse and interpret research and data to detect trends and create strategic and operational recommendations
  • Write client-facing reports and present key findings to senior management
  • Assist in resource planning, project management and milestone tracking
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the sports industry
  • Understand the latest digital trends and report this back to the wider team and clients
  • Work with all other personnel to develop and achieve Sportsbeat’s overall strategic goals
  • Be an ambassador for Sportsbeat and maintain a professional approach at all times

You will possess strong, hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • Digital platforms & products
  • Proven ability to produce social copy that's fresh, sharp and at times witty
  • Producing social media content for high-profile (ideally sports) accounts
  • Digital innovation and technologies
  • Digital and content strategy
  • Technically savvy and passionate about the latest digital trends and developments
  • A keen understanding of digital marketing technologies and the ability to communicate the rationale and outputs of those tools to non-technical people
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and experience using analytics platforms (eg Google, Meta, X etc..)
  • Excellent client-facing skills or experience of working with a wide range of senior stakeholders within an organisation
  • Comfortable under pressure (presenting, giving clients feedback etc.) ability to meet fixed deadlines (both internal and from clients)

 

It would be great if you also had:

  • High literacy and numeracy skills
  • Great presentation skills – both written and oral
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage budgets and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrable ability to learn new skills with a readiness to share them among other members of the team
