Interim Product Design Lead (UX/UI) - Financial Services (6 Months)


About The Company


We are delighted to support a leading enterprise software solution for managing financial transactions that help businesses and customers enhance operational control, lower expenses and create new revenue opportunities. They are currently experiencing exciting growth with the launch of a new product and are seeking an experienced Interim Product Design Lead (UX/UI) to join their team in London for a 3-to-6-month contract.


About the Role


As the Interim Product Design Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of their platform and driving growth. You will be a hands-on leader, contributing to all aspects of the design process, from user research to usability testing. Key responsibilities include:


  • User Research: Conducting user research activities, such as interviews and usability testing, to identify user needs and pain points.
  • Information Architecture: Defining the information architecture of our platform to ensure a clear and intuitive user experience.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts and gather user feedback.
  • Visual Design: Developing a visually appealing and consistent user interface for our platform.
  • Usability Testing: Conducting usability testing to identify and address usability issues.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the user experience is prioritized throughout the development process.

Who You Are:


  • You are a highly experienced UX/UI designer with a proven track record of success in both B2B and B2C environments.
  • You have a strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • You are a quick learner and can adapt to new technologies and challenges.
  • You are a self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Experience with financial services applications.
