Network Engineer (Offshore role)

Network Engineer: Meraki, Aruba Switching, Development skills, Python coding.

Location – Remote, CST or EST time zone preferred. Better aligns with UK who they will need to work with. And be in or near Nottingham, Sunderland and Newcastle only.


Expert in working on Meraki, Data Centers, Palo Alto. (Must Have)

PCNSA certification is not mandatory but good to have.



Requirement:

  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, DMVPN, VPN, and Network Monitoring tools.
  • MPLS configuration experience required.
  • Network Design experience required.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Experience supporting enterprise networks for VoIP and SIP messaging.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to hardware, L3/L2 deployment, application behaviors, and TCP stack.
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching concepts and technologies, including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP, Spanning Tree.
  • Strong Telco circuit knowledge and troubleshooting skills.


Collaboration:

  • Experience working collaboratively with Network Architects, Systems Software Developers, and Administrators.
  • Experience working in Data Centers.
  • Ability to manage multiple, often competing, priorities and tasks, and follow through to completion on strict deadlines.
  • Ability to use discretion and judgment in evaluating problems and creating solutions for Members.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of end-users, including non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated with the enthusiasm to develop technical skills and take on additional responsibilities to add value to departmental and client goals.
  • Willingness to participate in On-Call rotation.
