Our client is a leading quantitative trading firm in London who successfully run a host of systematic strategies across different asset classes and markets - priding themselves on the rigorous scientific and innovative approach they undertake.


They are looking for Junior Quantitative Researchers to join their team to work on developing and researching trading strategies and implementing trading ideas. This will involve using advanced statistical methods as well as programming - so strong Python skills are a must.


They are interested in meeting with individuals who have recently completed a PhD in a quantitative subject from a leading university - but are open to seeing individuals with a MSc that have exceptional academics and internship experience in a quant trading environment.


Responsibilities

  • Researching, developing, and implementing trading strategies
  • Conducting alpha research - specifically identifying trading signals
  • Identifying trading opportunities


Requirements

  • A PhD in a quantitative subject (maths/applied maths/statistics/physics)
  • A keen interest to work in a quantitative trading firm
  • A strong understanding of statistics and probability
  • Strong Python skills
