Principal Engineer

We are currently looking for a Principal Engineer - Battery Performance for our client.

The Principal Engineer - Battery Performance will:

• battery system concepts from system level requirements by cell selection and pack sizing.
• battery data from tests, race events, and fleet operations.
• battery performance and safety through model simulations.
• with stakeholders at all levels as a battery performance representative.
• battery test strategies and protocols to confirm the functionality and security of battery systems.

The Principal Engineer - Battery Performance will have:

• in a STEM course or relevant equivalent experience.
• MATLAB experience analysing battery data.
• in battery system development programmes.
• experience in battery systems modelling and simulations.
• interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
