We are seeking an Associate to join the expanding Commercial Disputes team in Manchester, offering a unique opportunity for career progression and training. The successful candidate will be part of a team renowned for its expertise across various specialisms, working closely with UK and International Partners on client relationship development and team expansion. The Commercial Disputes Group, recognised as a leading practice in dispute resolution and investigations, operates across all UK offices and internationally. The Manchester team, noted as the region's largest and most prestigious, has been honoured with the Litigation Team of the Year award at the Manchester Legal Awards. The team's expertise spans a wide range of areas, including finance, fraud, construction, and more, representing a diverse clientele from blue-chip companies to high net worth individuals across various sectors.

This role will give exposure to a diverse and varied caseload in commercial disputes, opportunities for upskilling in specialist areas, exposure to cross-border disputes, and business development training. Candidates must have the ability to support cases across a broad range of commercial disputes, possess a sound technical understanding of the law, excellent drafting and communication skills, a commercial approach to issues, and the ability to work well under pressure. Additionally, self-motivation, a collaborative approach, and involvement in training, marketing, and business development are essential. The position requires active support in complex transactions, coordinating with fee earners from other disciplines as needed.
