Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading electronic equipment at various collection sites.
- Sorting and organising electronic equipment on shelves for easy access and identification.
- Documenting inventory and maintaining accurate records in our system.
- Labelling all assets clearly and accurately.
- Researching electronic equipment to identify make, model, specifications, etc.
- Testing electronic equipment to ensure functionality.
- Online research for information about various items.
- Photographing and listing items for sale.
- Packaging and preparing orders for shipment once sold.
- Carrying out electronic equipment repairs (basic electronic tools knowledge required).
- Testing repaired equipment to ensure functionality post-repair.
Requirements:
- A keen eye for detail and an organized mind.
- Basic yet passionate understanding of electronics and their components.
- Strength and endurance to engage with the physical aspects of the role.
- Computer proficiency for inventory brilliance and detective-like online research.
- Prior experience in a similar role is a bonus but not a necessity.
- Ability to lift and shift heavy items around the warehouse storage systems.
